HERA and HOYMAS Disseminate Huduma Mtaani Findings to Nairobi County Stakeholders – 26 May 2026 | Nairobi County

Help REACH Africa (HERA), in partnership with Health Options for Young Men on HIV/AIDS/STIs (HOYMAS), successfully disseminated findings from the Huduma Mtaani Project to key health stakeholders in Nairobi County on 26th May 2026.

The dissemination meeting was held at Waridi Paradise Hotel & Suites in Hurlingham, Nairobi and brought together county health leadership, healthcare providers, development partners, civil society organizations, and stakeholders working with key populations.

The event was graced by the Nairobi County Director of Health, Dr Carol Ngunu, alongside the County Key Population Focal Person and representatives from organizations supporting key population health programming.

The Huduma Mtaani Project, implemented by HERA and HOYMAS with support from the Elton John AIDS Foundation, seeks to improve access to HIV prevention and treatment services among key populations through healthcare provider capacity strengthening and health system improvements.

The dissemination forum provided an opportunity to share project achievements, lessons learned, and recommendations for strengthening inclusive and client-centered healthcare services within county health systems.

Preparations are currently underway for a similar dissemination meeting in Kajiado County.
