HERA got an award from the Elton John AIDS Foundation(EJAF) for an implementation project entitled “Huduma Mtaani”. In this program, we will work in Nairobi and Kajiado Counties in Kenya. We are collaborating with HOYMAS and the project will run for 2 years.

Objectives:

The following are the objectives of the study:

To increase access to healthcare among Key Populations living in Nairobi and Kajiado including HIV/ST, PrEP and mental health services. .
To reduce HIV infections among the Key Populations community.
To train 50 Health Care Providers (HCP) on use of Accelerated Therapy Resolution (ART) to manage Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
To broaden the utilization of Human Centered Design (HCD) and telehealth methodologies to improve HIV prevention, treatment, care and other vital services for the Key Population community.
