HERA got an award from Yale University entitled “Using Web-based Peer Support to Increase HIV Testing Among Key Populations in Kenya”. In this program, we worked in Nairobi and Uasin Gishu Counties in Kenya, in collaboration With Q-Initiative. The project ran for 2 years.

  • To increase the number of Key Populations who get tested for HIV and know thier status.
  • Decrease HIV transmission among Key Populations in Kenya.
  • Provide peer support to Key Populations in Kenya.
  • To develop a discrete mobile app platform that provides comprehensive peer support for Key Populations.
